Maya Allen is the Beauty Director for InStyle, where she oversees all beauty coverage in the magazine. She has a thing for red lipstick (her collection is 200 strong) and an elaborate skincare routine. Embracing beauty, in all of its diverse glory, is her form of activism and she’s committed to amplifying representation through storytelling. Brooklyn is where she resides.
